To begin with, these little fluffy bundles have been a long time in coming. They've been around since about last summer and just now made it to their house of final destination. Nike and Sissy, two very cute, tiger stripped cats we're brought home to Jon's lastnight and seem to be adjusting well.
Nike...is the biggest extrovert I know. He crawls all over people just to get attention, and then once he's settled nicely in a place he knows he'll get petted, he puts his paw around you as if to say "your mine, and thats all there is to it." I'll admit I've flicked him a couple times in the ear when he was just wayyyy to assertive.
Sissy. That word describes her pretty well according to Jon. It is her name, which was going to be Rebok, but Sissy just fits better. She is the introvert of the family... hiding wherever seems safe...behind the toilet or under the wood stove, however illogical. She's mostly timid, and then Nike will come and try to attack her, but she doesn't put up with too much.
Such are the cats...
