10 Things About My Life - Right Now

10: Levi has a cold as of two days ago. Poor little guy has the drippiest nose and the reddest eyes. Do you think a baby can get allergies? Jon thought perhaps so. It doesn't seem that Levi is teething (yet again!), so I'm a little puzzled. The mystery has yet to be solved as to what caused this cold. I think, though, I might be obsessing about it. Moving on.

9: I have taken one final and have a few more to go. I studied for one night and got a C. Not too shabby.

8: Here, I'll give you my own personal nursing diagnosis: Procrastination related to intense irritation at school, lack of interest as manifested by blogging, facebooking, cleaning (not really), cooking, shopping, movie watching, petting Jake, and napping.

7: I have one motivation. Pass this semester. Grade, you say? What grade? I almost don't care. Little story for you. I bought my stethoscope at the beginning of the semester. An expensive one. I also had it engraved with my name so that it wouldn't be lost (the good ol' docs like to run off with them occasionally). THAT my friends, is my motivation. I spent buco dinero on this equipment that is marked with my name. I better get to use it.

6. I am finding lots of joy in walking around our neighborhood and enjoying the apple blossoms. They smell divine!

5. A good childhood friend of mine is getting married this Sunday. I'm ecstatic and can't wait to witness this event. Both of her sisters are also married and I was MIA for both of their weddings. It will not be so with this one.

4. Along with Levi's cold comes a huge lack of sleep. He's beyond tired and has a hard time drifting off. Poor little guy! Not sure what to do next.

3. Our house now has a "SOLD" sign on it. Meaning, its ours! We're very excited, a little nervous, and becoming more and more optimistic by the hour.

2. I keep finding wood ticks in our house. YUCK! I really don't like those little creatures. Especially after my youngest brother-in-law contracted Lyme's disease. I'd rather not see another creature with 6-8 legs ever again. But, as always, distance makes the heart grow fonder. Do you think that's true in this case?

1. We close on our house a mere two hours after I take my final exam. Wow! God is AWESOME!

So many wonderful things going on! But the teething/allergies/no sleep is tough. Neil seriously did not, would not, could not sleep through the night from months 9-11. I feel your pain completely. He went back to sleep easily enough, but still I was awake and that was hard. For some reason it's just clicked for him this week and that's to say, there is light at the end of the tunnel! Hang in there! My dr. said babies CAN get allergies. I know you don't do a lot of meds, which I totally think is great, but if they get back enough, baby Zyrtec is supposed to be really good...although it may have been part of that big recall... hmmm. I'll check on it. Levi is SO cute! My computer's back and I have about a zillion comments to go back and make on yours and Becca's sites!!!
