No Christmas Tree, No Christmas Tree, somehow I don't feel lacking...

I was on my way to a piping hot shower when the computer called my name. For a while I've been noticing my bloggy space has been on the same post for...- well since before Christmas. Not so good. Needless to say, around here we've either been busy or sick. Before we left for Colorado to visit my Grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins we spent a great week with Jon's family. In the middle of such we got sick. Despite our runny noses and congested lungs we had a wonderful time with my family in a lodge faceing the backside of Pikes Peak.

This Christmas has been a little unusual for me. First of all, it flew by, didn't feel like Christmas (due to lack of snow for a really long time before hand), and we didn't decorate. There were plans in the making to put up a tree (since we're not broke this year) and make homemade family stockings. Somehow, those fell through the cracks of life. Oh well. I'm glad there is next year; maybe we'll have a house of our own with the huge living room to put a Christmas tree in *slightly neurotic smile*.

ps- I adore Christmastime.
