Levi's First Christmas

Dear Levi,

Merry first Christmas! Your dad and I are so happy that you're going to be a part of our Christmas's forever!

My sweet little Levers (that's your nic-name) this Christmas is really busy. This is the year we go to Colorado to see Grandpa and Grandma Whatsy and spend time with all of mommy's cousins. Auntie Becca, Uncle Eric, Eva, Hope and Esther are going too. Before we go there is lots of packing to do, and I have to get used to packing everything you will need. You are so important to your dad and I, so we make sure we bring your toys and favorite blankets.

The past couple of days we have spent a lot of time with Grandma and Grandpa Selin and all your aunts and uncles and cousins. Auntie April and Auntie Becca's families haven't come for Christmas yet, but we will celebrate with them in February. Tomorrow we'll celebrate Jesus while Uncle Isaac and Auntie Alli are here. Just for the record, your cousins Elijah and Ethan LOVE you and you think they're pretty cool too!

No matter how busy Christmas is or where we spend that day, Daddy and I always want you to remember that we celebrate Christmas because of Jesus. He was born just like you and was a baby just like you are now. I pray that you will always know the comfort of his presence in your life and that he loves you very much.

Merry Christmas, Levi Justice Selin.

Love,
Mommy
