The past whole weekend I've been recovering from a general yuckiness due to the vaccination I received on Friday, but today in particular I feel a bit slobbish (is that a word? Makes me think of something from Lord of the Rings). Anyway, in order to un-slob-ify myself I'm going to attempt some holiday baking, laundry, dishes, etc. I will also attempt to find something to do with 14 yams (which this time are actually sweet potato's; I've heard they're interchangeable. Anyone care to set me straight? ) that got left alone at the family Christmas. Sad for the yams- but now we get to eat them. Yum! Any favorite recipes out there for?
Oh, and I suppose I should clarify my title...
When I was younger my mom would bring me into town for some of the classes I took at the high school here. Because we thought the drive was long- probably because we didn't talk a whole lot- we would listen to stories on tape. One of the stories was the trilogy of the Swan Princess. Apparently there is much, much more to the story than what Disney has depicted. Anyway, the Princess was a little girl who was captured and sent to work under the kitchen in the castle. Her job was to sort the yams. There were...Rhinoceros Yams, Spotted Yams, Pink Yams, Blue Yams...etc. Lots of yams. So. There you go. :)

yams and sweet potatoes are different but I always have to ask Jesse how to tell them apart. pretty much everyone uses them interchangeably but (food-snob) Jesse knows the difference ;) hope doing some stuff will jump start you into feeling better!
