Timing

Again, today I'm blogging when I should be packing. Motivation is my issue- or the lack thereof. To assist me with my procrastination, I searched out one of these...only on ice.

A very tall iced, "half caf", white mocha was the choice of today. Hopefully this will give me an extra boost off my duff to continue packing the kitchen. Or, perhaps things will go just as my husband says, and I'll just have to grit my teeth and discipline myself into doing what I know I should. Ugh.

We called our realtor the other day letting him know that there is some easy accessibility into the house- ie; its not locked. So, he called the seller's realtor who then proceeded to tell us we have free reign of the home seeing as the bank is looking like they will accept our offer. HOORAY!!! She even gave us the entry codes for the front door.
This house is also a short sale. For those who don't know the realty business (I'm new myself) this means that neither the bank nor the previous owners actually have possession of the home. It's somewhere in the middle. So, instead of going straight to the bank to buy the house (as in a foreclosure) we're required to gain the approval of our offer from both the previous owners and the bank. What this means is that short sales can take forever to process. When talking with our realtor the other day, he mentioned to Jon that he was amazed how fast this process was going for us; especially considering it is a short sale. Praise the Lord! I'm so thrilled that someone our side of our sphere of people is noticing the way things are moving. I have to completely attribute this to the Lord and his timing and the prayers of righteous men and women. That is one verse the Lord has been giving me over and over again in my mind. "The prayers of a righteous man are powerful and effective." Yes. Yes they are!
