As you can see: Camp Knudtsen
While waiting for the birthday dinner to be ready, my mom got in some great conversation with her dad ( I love this picture!).
My sister took it upon herself to find a lovely boquet/centerpiece for our birthday bash. It stayed on the table the entire trip.
Hope, (becca's current youngest) enjoyed playing silly games with my mom (whome she affectionatly calls "spears") for Great Grandpa to watch. Hope was beyond charming as she would go around the circle and call every one by name and talked and talked and talked. Though I have no picture, she latched onto Jon for some reason, but there was never a "Jon" without and "Autie" (short for Auntie) and vis versa in one sentence.
There was a great deal of pictures snapping going on as well. A trip like this must be documented! I think this is when dad tried captureing my mom and Hope from the previous picture.
My dad- the most hearty-steak-loving- carivore (besides my sister)enjoyed his steak immensely. I think he got a t-bone- and was completely satisfied. Happy Birthday, Dad!
Jon is ending up a close second in the competitition for the "most steak loving person in our family"...he was extremely happy with his enourmous steak.
Eva is now 4 and old enough to come fishing with the rest of the gang. She and Grandpa had some fun learning to fish with the pole dad gave her. She was a great sport the whole weekend and so fun to be around. I know Grandma Whatsy (my Grandma) was a big hit with Eva.
To finish the fishing part of our trip, we had a gorgeous sunset. This picture hardly does the scene credit. The water was turned golden with the sunset, and being so thick, it looked like liquid gold with a few boats floating on top.
And, as my grandma would say, this picture is an advertisement for Crest. No, I just like to capture the two of us on our adventures. I love this man so much!

Looks like a great time camping! That sunset picture is GORGEOUS! WOW! I can't imagine how beautiful it must have been in person if that doesn't do it justice!
