Latest Levi story:
A while back we had kittens. Levi isn't particularly gentle with dolls, or stuffed bears or anything that isn't alive, but when it comes to these kittens, he is extremely gentle... in as gentle as a twenty month old can be. Often he will ask to go into the extra bathroom and go look at the kittens. He will run up to the bathtub (where they hang out) and will start pointing and asking me what they are. Before I go on, you need to know that Levi will often tuck in his doll my mom gave him last Christmas and will give it a dolly blanket and tuck it in and then throw it across the room. One time I took one of the kittens out and brought it into Levi's room. He imediately came over and patted the kitten and went and got his favorite blanket and tucked the kitten in and stayed completely gentle the whole time. It was very sweet.
Latest Levi words:
"Gak" - no meaning precisely... and he picked it up from my niece (same age)
"Noo" - It actually has the proper meaning and application. :)
"Wow"
"Bah" - Bottle. Yes. We still give him a bottle. He drinks raw milk out of it and so... I really don't care if he drinks it from a bottle or sippy cup. He likes it for his bedtime. And yes, they say thats a bad thing... but has no sugar. Not quite as bad a formula or juice. I'm hoping his teeth agree.
"Go" - He loves to go these days. Loves to be outside and ride in the car. I've heard that toddlers love going places, but I think part of it is Levi's love of doing and going.
I have the most joyful and fun explorer there is. He has his moments like any other kiddo, but his hunger for learning and doing is awesome and I just think and pray that is how his spirit is after God. I continually pray for him to be a lover and seeker of the truth and for the Lord to give him discernment, and I am thankful that I can stand on the word and truth of the Lord and know that Levi can too!
