Monday's Update

Since the last time I wrote ( ...or posted pictures that will not go away no matter if I delete the entire post...) we've been busy. Can you tell? So for now, since I have a test around the corner and a chicken to take out of the oven soon, I'll keep this to a few simple points. 1. Spring Well, really more weather in general. I'm not sure if you can call the weather "Spring". Its more or less bipolar. Or, if you will, traditional March and April. But really, who is able to wear sandals in February? All I can say is that it was warm enough. March came in like a lamb and went out like a lion. Snow, rain, sun, rain, sun, snow, rain, snow... you get it. The first part of April was all rain. Jon reminded me that "April showers bring May flowers." Lets hope that is true. 2. Family Life The last weekend in March, Jon and I went to a couples retreat with our church. We had some fun times and Levi stayed with my sister and her family. He also had a blast. Apparently he did everything in sight. For about two seconds each. He's a doer and go getter. We all came back from the weekend a little sleep deprived and we were promptly greeted with strep throat. Jon and I thought Levi was teething, so did think much of it. However when Jon came home Thursday night sick, and a sore throat with white spots on the tonsils Friday morning, I sent him in. Later on I took Levi in and both boys tested positive. I went in this morning - nothing. Free and clear. Yay. 3. Remodeling. Need I say more? Our house is a disaster zone. Again. The sweet part in all this is that we are accomplishing things we intended to when we originally moved in. So yay. I'll hopefully post pictures of the finished product, until then, you'll just be in suspense. The end. ps. Blogger, I hate you.
