I love St. Patricks day. I mean, I really love getting in to it. I don't dye my hair, and I don't drink excessive amounts of beer, but I love to be festive about the whole thing. I think it all started with my name being "Erin" which of course means "Ireland". According to my dad, we have some Scotch-Irish in us, but as always, blood lines can be debated and get so jumbled through the generations that its just safe to say the only Irish I have in me is my name. {I could go in to a whole spiel on names and how they are birthrights, but will save that for another day.}
Getting back to my original thought: To begin prepping the "holiday" -{which isn't a holiday at all} spirit, I thought I'd post The Color Green by Rich Mullins. By far one of my very favorite songs praising the Lord for his creation. I'm starting to get all sorts of chills about how the Lord will use Ireland and the blessing that can come from there. There is definitely a God ordained creativity in the Irish.
Enjoy the link. :)
