Well, I'm slighty grumpy at Blogger.com right now, because the algorythms that make this website had a brain fart in processing my last blog. Oh well. I can complain about the weather any time. And, it does no good to complain about things I cannot change, or complain at all.
Jon and I had a surpise twist in our day. We called my sister to see if she and her family wanted to hang out with us. Aparently Hotel Patenaude was booked full for the weekend. No problem, we were recruited for baby sitting the two girls (which I love and don't get to do much). The origional plan was to bring my sister a car so that she could go grocery shopping and we'd watch the girls. This turned into a "watch the girls all night". Awesome! I've always enjoyed the two I call Peanut and Pumpkin (Eva and Hope), but tonight for some reason superceded many times in the past. P & P happily ate delicious pizza with Jon and I; both girls ate almost 2 full pieces (amazing!). Pumpkin went right to bed afterwards due to the fact both her naps were short and she was so tired. Peanut then lovingly played "hospital worker" with Jon (who just got out of the hospital). I don't know why, but she really got a kick out of makeing hospital beds and making sure Jon was all doctored up with the proper medication. Hopefully his incision heals faster from her TLC. I wish I could quote all the things Eva said. She was so full of funny phrases, and things that didn't quite come out just right. Possibly a pleural on the wrong word, missing a number in her counting, or just something a comical three year old would say.
I adored spending time with both girls tonight; totally charming, though both really sleepy. I know both can be rascals and disobedient like all children are- it's only normal. However, tonight they were good natured, obedient and happy. This is not to say that I don't enjoy them when they're moody or grumpy- but tonight felt fun and special while playing with Eva and cuddling with Hope.
