Somehow between reading and working on my final paper, I have time to blog.
Anyway. I've been considering for a long time handwashing our clothes. We have mounds of laundry and the only reason I don't wash them is because our laundry room is not close(no, i'm not lazy), up am icey hill (not fun carrying more than one load), and it's winter (brrrr!!!). I've washed my clothes by hand before. I did it while I was in India for 3 months. Honestly, once we were able to use a machine, it was easier and used less water to just do it by hand. I know it's not for the faint of heart, or the ones who want to be lazy. I acknowledge the hard work involved, but I hate going out in below zero temps more than hard work.
So, any advice or opinions? I'm open, and want to hear what people think.

don't do it!!! Just make a regular habit of climbing the hill to the laundry, so you don't have to carry more than one load. Then sit and study while your clothes wash themselves. Instead of washing your clothes for HOURS of your day! Man, you're really need some adventure in your life :).
well, i do have time on my hands... might be a fun experiment since its freakin' cold anyway...and i've been pondering it for the last 2 months (about)
