The List of Life

I guess there are a series of events in the past day or two... not super funny stories about taking three children under the age of three to the MOA...but my life.

1. Finished reading Intimate Issues (Dillow&Pintus). Fabulous book if you've never read it. If you have, I bet you love it already.

2. Started Cracking the Communication Code (Intervarsity Press). Good so far. My grandparents gave it to us for our "house warming" gift. Didn't think I'd like it, but a really good one to read with your spouse. Jon doesn't have much time for reading, so, I think I'll read aloud to him as we fall asleep (we'll see how that goes, eh?).

3. Also started reading Fenimine Appeal (Mahaney). Don't know how it is yet. But, I first started reading it when I was 18 or so and was bored of it rather quickly. I don't think I was ready for this book yet.

*obviously I'm craving the joy of reading right now and since we have an abundance of books on marriage and feminine qualities, I'll read 'em.

4. It snowed again today. Sleeting is more like it (careful on the roads), but I guess while I was taking my 4 hour nap (groan! I'm trying not to take long naps anymore) it turned to snow. A lovely wet, slushy, good snow man making snow.

5. Tried to post a video of the way our super little home looks. We tore down the shelves mentioned in previous blog and converted (ok, Jon did it all) them into a new desk that fits in the corner. After being inspired by IKEA, also put up blinds made out of various material around the house including napkins and sheets (I'll post pictures later) and added Sofie the Green Dragon to our decor. Actually our affectionatly named creature is a bamoo (spelling?) plant we purchased while at IKEA. Can you tell I'm pet starved?

6. I started a new class this week. Developmental Psychology. I don't have the book, so I haven't done much with this last online course, but it sounds interesting. I'll be required to write a biography. Anybody want to be my subject? In this category, I also finished my two Bible courses. Very facinating and not at all what I expected. I don't think I had too many expectations, but I didn't expect to be drilled on the use of tongues as a spiritual gift. It was a great class, both of them.

if you haven't bought your book yet for dev. psych., I had that class... I wonder if it's the same book? I'll borrow it to you if it is :)
