So far, not too much else has happened in the basement saga.
The other night I was able to help the man of my dreams move all the boxes of stuff back down to the room they came from. Yippee! The men now have their living room back. I'm sure the cats appreciate it. They so far have found many interesting toys out of the kid's fake food toys. I thought an already destroyed lemon would not be terribly missed, and the two bored cats had a ball- I mean, a lemon. I would love to share pictures of this glorious fun of the cats, but 1) I'm an illiterate picture uploader 2) there are no pictures and 3) I'm sure the benevolent landlords wouldn't be thrilled to show off their list of possesions that didn't make it on the move (yet). So there.
On another topic- can anyone tell me how to keep cats from stinking other than a) not feeding them and b) putting a cork in their backsides? They seems to be professionals at faithfully reeking up the bathroom- even with kitty lider...go figure. I thought cats just didn't stink. I've been proven wrong to my dismay. Guh! The guys are conquering heros and clean it up, though I did a deep clean the other night and it has the long gone sparkle back... maybe it's the feminine touch in a guy's house. They (the men) didn't seem to mind anyway. Hopefully there will be a prodical appetite that will once again return to their stomachs. :)
ps- i'm 100% sure that i make it sound worse than it may actually be, though if you were there lastnight....peeee ewww!

i'm glad things aren't worse, at least. all i can say about the cats is make sure it gets cleaned often, the litter is deep enough for them to dig around, and get them fixed! :)
